Challenge

Danone, a leading global food and beverage company with a presence in over 120 markets, faced hurdles in managing its multifaceted digital transformation initiatives. Challenge

As Zoom rapidly scaled its workforce from 2,400 to over 5,700 employees globally between January 2020 and June 2021, managing projects across departments became increasingly complex. A hodgepodge of spreadsheets, emails, and various work management platforms hindered collaboration, visibility, and knowledge sharing.

Solution

Zoom implemented Asana as its central work management platform to bridge communication gaps between technical and business teams.  Asana offered a central hub for all project information, fostering collaboration and transparency.

Departments could customize Asana to fit their specific needs while maintaining a standardized overall approach. User-friendliness minimized IT support requirements, with existing Asana users within the company acting as advocates.

Result

By centralizing project management in Asana, Zoom achieved significant improvements. Zoom estimates a time savings of 667 work days per year, equivalent to over two years of full-time work. This efficiency boost stems from forms, templates, and automated workflows.

Lucid + Asana

Challenge

Lucid, a company known for its visual collaboration solutions, struggled with internal communication and project management. Marketing, for example, relied on a scattered system of four work platforms, email, chat, and meetings. Today, Asana serves as Lucid's central nervous system, fostering transparency, collaboration, and efficiency. Team boards allow members to see tasks from all connected projects. Company OKRs are tracked in Asana, ensuring alignment and accountability. Integrations with various tools create a centralized information hub and automate repetitive tasks. Eliminating the need to "hunt for messages" through readily accessible information within Asana streamlines workflows. Michelle credits Asana's role in accelerating the development and launch of Lucidspark, their new whiteboard application.
